Amy Kaufman is an innovator and activator in education and the workforce. Her primary area of research and consulting is around education systems alignment through the design and delivery of regional programs and partnerships that support student success from secondary to post-secondary and the workforce while addressing the labor market needs of a region.
Amy leads statewide initiatives of K-12 school districts, community colleges, and universities to expand STEM-related career pathway programs. Amy is the Orange County President and Global Co-Chair for the Virtual and Augmented Reality Association (VRARA) and a subject matter expert for the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN). She speaks across the nation and internationally on the future work and the future of learning.
Amy has been an instructor at the high school, adult school, and community college level and is currently a faculty member at UC San Diego's Department of Education and Community Outreach.
